Marvin Schrickel
Marvin, originally from Germany, brings over 15 years of experience in the tourism industry across multiple countries, including yachting, wakeboarding, surfing, and trail bike training. With five years in the off-road industry and having ridden dirt bikes since the age of 12, his enthusiasm for motorsports is unparalleled. As the founder and director of 2nd Gear UAE, Marvin leverages his extensive expertise to guide the business towards great success.
Sebastian Haywood
Born and raised in South Africa, with a deep-rooted passion for motorsports that has shaped both my career and life. After completing my degree in Business Management, I ventured to Dubai to work for an offroad touring company, which was only meant to be a gap year. Once completed I returned to South Africa, where I briefly pursued a career in corporate financial advisory and insurance, that I gained valuable business experience from. However, I quickly discovered that while the corporate environment offered stability and assurity, it wasn’t where my heart was. My passion for motorsports was too strong to ignore, and I knew I had to make it my full-time career.
This realization led me back to Dubai, where I’ve now spent the last 6 years working in the industry and building my passion into a career. Every day has been a thrill, and I couldn’t be happier to work for a company that offers incredible services to people that share the same passion.
Craig Coetzee
Hey! I’m one of those lucky folks who discovered their passion super early – I was just four years old when I first jumped on a bike, and I’ve been hooked ever since. After spending some awesome years racing in South Africa, I found my true calling: teaching others to ride.
For the past 7 years, I’ve been coaching riders of all levels. There’s nothing better than helping fellow adrenaline junkies discover the thrill of conquering challenging terrain and watching them progress from nervous beginners to confident riders.
